Any change in the registered office address of a company must be intimated to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA).

A company registered office is the official address for all government and legal correspondence. Changing it requires proper board/shareholder approval and MCA filing.

Types of Address Change

Change within the same city/town/village: Board Resolution + Form INC-22. Change within same state (different ROC jurisdiction): Special Resolution + Form INC-23. Change to another state: Special Resolution + Form INC-23 + approval from Regional Director.
